Trust & Privacy

This page is maintained by the NEXA AI team to answer common questions about how the app handles your data and conversations. It describes the current behavior of NEXA AI in your browser and is not a certification or audit report.

Your conversations

Chat history is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) on the device you use NEXA AI from. Clearing your browser storage removes it. We do not run a server-side conversation database for this app.

How AI requests work

When you send a message, the prompt and your chosen model settings are forwarded server-side to the AI provider through the AI Gateway. The reply is streamed back to your browser. The API key stays on the server and is never exposed in the browser.

What we collect

NEXA AI itself does not collect personal accounts, profiles, or analytics from you. Standard infrastructure logs (such as request timing or error logs) may be retained by the underlying hosting and AI gateway providers for operational purposes.

Security practices

All traffic is served over HTTPS. The AI provider key is held as a server-side environment variable and is never sent to the browser. Settings you change in the chat (model, temperature, custom instructions) are kept locally on your device.

Questions or requests

If you have questions about how your data is handled or want to request deletion, contact the app owner through the channel listed in the app footer or the page where you accessed NEXA AI.

Shared responsibility: NEXA AI controls the app behavior described above. The underlying hosting platform and AI gateway provider operate the network, runtime, and model infrastructure. You are responsible for what you choose to send to the assistant and for keeping access to your device secure.
