How to turn your notes into a useful study pack
A good study pack does more than shorten a chapter. It helps you recall ideas, test your understanding and decide what to revise next. This workflow keeps your own material at the centre.
A four-step workflow
Choose focused source notes
Start with one chapter, lecture or topic. Remove repeated lines and mark any definitions, formulas or dates your teacher emphasised.
Build the first study pack
Paste your notes into NEXA Study, add a clear topic and choose the level that matches your course. The pack combines a summary, concepts, flashcards, a quiz and a plan.
Check before memorising
Compare the summary and answers with your notes. Correct anything unclear, and keep your textbook or teacher's material as the final source of truth.
Revise actively
Answer each flashcard before flipping it, take the quiz without looking at your notes, and spend the next session on the concepts you missed.
What each part is for
Summary and concepts
Use these for orientation. They should show how the main ideas connect, not replace the detail in your source material.
Flashcards and quiz
Use flashcards for short recall and the quiz for application. Review wrong answers while the reasoning is still fresh.
Example: one biology chapter
Paste your class notes for photosynthesis, choose your course level, then check that the pack covers the light-dependent reactions, the Calvin cycle and the limiting factors in your notes. Mark confident flashcards as known, take the quiz, and use missed topics to plan the next revision session.
